"Dave" Review

"Dave" Review

08/10

1993
An Ivan Reitman Film
Protagonist(s): Kevin Klein, Sigourney Weaver, Kevin Dunn, Ving Rhames, Charles Grodin
Antagonist(s): Frank Langella
Run-time: 1 hour 50 minutes

When Presidential Impersonator Dave Kovic (Kevin Klein) was hired by the White House, he became entangled in a web of deceit designed to circumvent the proper protocols in the event of a Presidential medical emergency.

A humorous drama version of the Prince and the Pauper, this film also demonstrates how easily the system can be tricked by a clever acting talent and a pair of high ranking cohorts to run interference and plan events.

The plot is excellent, the acting talents and special appearances are excellent.

I recommend this film for those over the age of thirteen, and for near all occasions.
