"Assassin's Creed: Forsaken" Review
9/10

Protagonist(s): Haytham Kenway
When he lost his family in the attack on his home, the son of an Assassin is raised as a Templar while chasing clues as to the whereabouts of his missing sister and those responsible for his broken childhood.
The book mostly covers parts of back story not mentioned in the game Assassin's Creed 3, though there are a few areas of overlapping events as told from a different perspective.
It is a first person narrative in the form of a journal, though more detailed than most would write events for posterity.
This is also the first novel in the series where the main protagonist is severely injured, bringing more realism to the world than the games. The details are fairly gritty but not to the point where it detracts from the story.
I recommend this book for all those who enjoy the Assassin's Creed series.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
