"Stargate SG-1" Review Season 02, Episode 17, Holiday
7/10
5th February 1999
Written By: Tor Alexander Valenza
Directed By: David Warry-Smith
Upon visiting a new world, SG-1 not only come across strange technology but also a seemingly mentally deficient old man whom Teal'c is certain is one of the most dangerous human opposition fighters against the Goa'uld. After touching one of the devices with Doctor Jackson, the old man collapses and Daniel acts a little strangely.
There are a few introductions in this episode, though some are not seen and some are merely swept under the blanket as being creations of the newly introduced character; Ma'chello. Ma'chello is an inventor, who not only opposes the Goa'uld but is wanted by them as a host so that his knowledge could be retained.
The device which switches persons and bodies is not referred to again outside clip shows.
The plot is good, the acting talent is okay though it is disconcerting seeing Mr Anderson attempting to play Teal'c as he acts the same way as he does when he plays host to the microscopic alien entities, the effects are good.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
