"Stargate SG-1" Review Season 02, Episode 08, Family

Master Bra'tac returns to Earth with grave news; Apophis is not dead, and has taken prisoner the son of Teal'c. Now SG-1 must go to Chulak, free Rya'c and bring Teal'c's family back to Earth.

This episode introduces a means of brain washing which is very effective, and only reversible through pain.

Another thing introduced in this episode is yet another Goa'uld trap; deadly poisonous viral gas created from mixing two compounds hidden in opposing false teeth, mixed when the teeth are crushed with a strong bite.

The plot is good, the acting talent is good, and the effects are modestly used and well integrated.
