In a belated birthday celebration, my friends and I had a few hours to venture into town after spending hours on the road to arrive in town. So we decided on Indian food.
Unfortunately the weather was not very nice, but as the restaurant was indoors that didn't matter.
The interior of the restaurant was decorated in statues and images of Hindi deities as is normal for this theme of restaurants. And the walls and ceiling was made to look like the inside of a clay hut or cavern with uneven surfaces made from cement or something similar, painted in bright colours.
I had the Corma; marinated and tandoori grilled chicken fillet in a creamed sauce with ground cashew nuts. Also included were square bits of pineapple and whole but pealed grapes, which sweetened the sauce more than normal. I enjoyed it very much.
Rice was served in a communal bowl for the whole table, and there was the options of having mild, medium or spicy sauce. Naan bread was served on the side if requested.
Hygiene was acceptable.
The staff was pleasant and polite. Nearly too polite, as we had to repeatedly ask for the cheque before it was brought to us.
The prices were reasonable.
