"Law Abiding Citizen" Review
9/10
2009
A Felix Gary Gray Film
Protagonist(s): Jamie Foxx
Antagonist(s): Gerard Butler
Run-time: 1 hour 28 minutes
When justice fails him, a formerly law abiding citizen takes it upon himself to teach those responsible the consequences of making deals with dangerous criminals.
I find it very fascinating watching how a savvy and intelligent person is capable of twisting the legal system to suit his needs. It also demonstrates the deficiencies inherent in the legal process. Loopholes exploited by wiley lawyers to win instead of seeing justice done.
Ranting aside, I enjoy the film.
The effects are excellent. The plot is filled with fascinating twists. The acting talent is excellent.
I recommend this film for those interested in the legal system, and those who have a strong stomach as there are scenes with gory content.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.
