"Blackadder II" Review
9/10
1986
Created By: Richard Curtis and Ben Elton
Protagonist(s): Rowan Atkinson, Tim McInnerny, Tony Robinson, Stephen Fry, Miranda Richardson, Patsy Byrne
Seasons on Air: 1
Episode Run-time: 30 minutes
Lord Edmund Blackadder (Rowan Atkinson), an aristocrat with schemes of elevating his standing and greater intelligence than his great-grandfather is as much aided as he is hindered by his dimwitted friend and servant, and the childish whims of the Queen (Miranda Richardson).
Set in the Elizabethan Era, this series follows the poorly execured plans of Lord Edmund Blackadder as he attempts to improve his social standing and monetary holdings, but utlimately fails either due to biting over more than he can chew or because of the bumbling of those around him.
The comedy much like its previous series is mostly verbal, relying on homonyms and double entendre, some of which lead to misunderstandings both intended and not.
There are only a few episodes, sadly.
I recommend this series for those who enjoy dry and dark wit.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
