"Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" Review
8/10
1983
A Richard Marquand Film
Protagonist(s): Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Frank Oz, Billy Dee Williams, Alec Guinness
Antagonist(s): Ian McDiarmid, David Prowse, James Earl Jones
Run-time: 2 hours 14 minutes
After the shocking revelations of Darth Vader (David Prowse, James Earl Jones) Jedi Knight in training Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) completes his training, and rejoins the Rebel Alliance in time to discover that another Death Star is being assembled. The mission is now to destroy it as well.
I was actually born in time for the Norwegian premiere of this film (though not for the American premiere). Not an important point, but one none the less.
This film contains the most titillating costume for men of that age; the Leia Slave Girl costume, which excites science fiction enthusiasts to this day. It also introduces the new species of life called Ewoks, which features in its own spin-off animated series.
In short this film features the notion of redemption. Making up for decades of violent and evil acts with a self-sacrificial act of defiance against the Master.
I recommend this film.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
