When the King and Queen (John Cleese and Julie Andrews) of the kingdom of Far Far Away invite their daughter back from her magical exile they are taken aback by her choice of husband and her appearance.
The overall plot is good, and the humorous insertion of fairy tale characters and events is simply spice. The duplicitous acts seem like they have been taken from both the Bible and classical myth.
The quality of the animation has not decreased, yet has not improved much.
The music is far more integrated into the action, which improved the impression of the experience.
It is not better than the first film, but not worse.
I would recommend this film for any family film night.
