"Real Steel" Review
9/10
2011
A Shawn Levy Film
Protagonist(s): Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo, Bailey Tallet
Antagonist(s): Kark Yune, Olga Fonda, Kevin Durand
Run-time: 2 hours 7 minutes
A former boxer (Hugh Jackson) has a chance to make a living with Robot Boxing, and he takes it while at the same time bonding with his estranged son (Dakota Goyo).
What catches my attention in this film is the attention to detail when it comes to the animation and puppetry involved,
The plot is a standard buddy film with some personal growth thrown in. The moral of the story is that you do not need to have the very best of equipment to win as long as you are talented.
The acting talent is good. The effects are good. The plot is transparent and predictable with a few humorous additions.
I recommend this film to science fiction enthusiasts.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
