"Pushing Daisies" Review
8/10
2007
Created By: Bryan Fuller
Protagonist(s): Lee Pace, Anna Friel, Chi McBride, Kristin Chenoweth
Seasons on Air: 2
Episode Run-time: 42 minutes
Since an early age following the death of his mother, Ned (Lee Pace) knew he had a very special and terrible gift. Touching that which is dead will bring it to life. Touching it again will restore it to dead state forever. However, leave the dead alive more than one minute and something else nearby must die in its stead.
In this series we follow the protagonist in a morbid investigative career, where the detective has the help of someone who is capable of speaking with the victims to get clues as to where to find evidence to their murder or cause of their accident.
The effects while morbid are somewhat mild and humorous. The decayed remain decayed, wounded wounded, and the mangled mangled.
It ended quickly with many loose ends hastily braided together in one or two episodes. But at least the ends were mostly fastened unlike other series which are left open.
I recommend this series for those with a somewhat morbid sense of humour.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
