"City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold" Review
9/10
1994
A Paul Weiland Film
Protagonist(s): Billy Crystal, Jack Palance, Daniel Stern, Jon Lovitz
Run-time: 1 hour 56 minutes
A year after the life altering cattle drive, a ghostly appearance sets in motion one of the driving forces behind much of the settlement of desolate lands; the hunt for gold.
Most sequel films do not live up to the original, but this film is an exception to the rule. It is equal to the first, but easier to adjust to as the characters are mostly known and need no further introduction.
It is a treasure hunt film, searching for clues with hilarious situations to make things complicated.
The comedy is excellently written and executed. The plot is simple and supported by the comedy. The acting talent is good.
I recommend this film for any Western and Displaced Character enthusiast.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
