"Pirates of the Caribbesn: At World's End" Review

"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" Review

9/10

2007
A Gore Verbinski Film
Protagonist(s): Johnny Depp, Kiera Knightly, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush
Antagonist(s): Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander
Run-time: 2 hours 49 minutes

The consequences of finding the heart of Davey Jones are grave, piracy and wonder stand to fall. The Pirate Brethren Court must assemble to confront the British Navy by electing a Pirate King and unleash the Goddess of the Sea.

While the act of piracy is not only morally but legally wrong the entire series romanticises Pirates and it is working. The concept of the series of films may not claim that piracy itself should be allowed, but that some times there is no choice but to use abhorrable means to achieve a noble end.

The effects, acting talent and comedy mesh together to complement the plot.

I recommend this film for its comedy and the most epic cinematics wedding in history.
