"Die Hard" Review

"Die Hard" Review

8/10

1988
A John McTiernan Film
Protagonist(s): Bruce Willis, Bonnie Bedelia, Reginald VelJohnson
Antagonist(s): Alan Rickman
Run-time: 2 hours 11 minutes

When New York Police officer John McClane (Bruce Willis) visits his estranged wife in Los Angeles for Christmas, he is caught off guard when terrorists invade the building and has to take matters into his own hands.

This is a thrilling action film with plenty of high tech gadgets which seem almost modern in their function and performance even today.

As with any film, there are victims and minor villains who muck things up for everyone, but it keeps things interesting in an otherwise repetitious film.

The effects lean more towards the Hollywood version of reality than explosions and such actually work, but it is entertaining nonetheless.

I recommend this film for any guys film night.
