"Back to the Future Part III" Review
8/10
1990
A Robert Zemeckis Film
Protagonist(s): Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Mary Steenburgen
Antagonist(s): Thomas Francis Wilson Jr
Run-time: 1 hour 58 minutes
After fixing the future timeline from the corrupted version, Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) was sent back in time to the year 1885 when the time machine was struck by lightning, stranding Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) in 1955. Following the instructions in the letter through time, the younger Doc Brown and Marty must try to find and mend the hidden time machine.
This time travel trilogy just went Wild West and it's very amusing. The Steampunk style of mechanics prepared and used by Doc Brown in 1885 looks like it could work as intended. However the same problems in quantim physics arise when applied to time travel.
It is still an entertaining film, and I've seen the trilogy several times since the early nineties when I was introduced to the films. I will likely see them several more times in my life, and I will still enjoy it for what it is; Entertainment.
