"Back to the Future Part II" Review
8/10
1989
A Robert Zemeckis Film
Protagonist(s): Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd
Antagonist(s): Thomas Francis Wilson Jr
Run-time: 1 hour 48 minutes
After a quick trip to the year 2015 to prevent a familial disaster, Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) return to 1985 to find it changed. They trace the change of the parallell universe back to 1955, and set off to change history.
The future is firstly nothing like what is depicted. Two years away and we have no flying cars, no self-lacing shoes, automated fit and comfort jackets, hover boards or public robotic assistance. And furthermore, we do not wear our trousers inside out, wear multiple neck ties, hydrate pizza, or unlock doors with thumb prints.
However, we have more advanced graphics than displayed even if we're a way off from being able to easily project holograms into broad daylight without some sort of gasseous, solid or liquid on which to project the image.
Lofty and optimistic future technology as well as dubious physics aside, the plot is interesting as well as intricately woven into the past, and the acting talent is capable.
I recommend this film for an evening of light entertainment.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
