René Artois (Gorden Kaye) runs a small café in France even during World War II, but the Resistance has recruited him because of his location and occupation.
This was one of the first British series which I was allowed to see even before I understood the language. I discovered later that the hillarious physical antics were attached to even more amusing puns, double entendre, and conflicting plots from different sides of the war being dumped in the main character's lap.
As such there is a certain sentimental attachment to this series.
I highly recommend this film for its hillarious plot and verbal humour.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
