A Lee Unkrich Film
Protagonist(s): Tom Hanks, Tim Allen
Antagoinst(s): Ned Beatty
Run-time: 1 hour 43 minutes
There comes a time in every toy's life when their kid grows up. What follows is unknown.
It must be said that each of the films preceeding this one could have been the end and all would have been great. But now there is a sense of closure as well.
The quality has increased, even though the model faces were simplified and the number of rigging points were drastically reduced.
I am by nature not a very emotional man, but at the end of this film I had a lump in my throat as I considered the treatment of my toys through my childhood.
The film also has a subtle moral to it; recycle your well cared for toys to the next generation rather than throw them out.
This film is recommended for any occasion and audience.
