"Three Amigos" Review

"Three Amigos" Review

8/10

1986
A John Landis Film
Protagonist(s): Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Martin Short
Antagonist(s): Tony Plana, Alfonso Arau
Run-time: 1 hour 43 minutes

In a case of Life imitating Art, three freshly unemployed actors are hired to portray their famous characters; The Three Amigos, not knowing that it is not theatrics but the real thing.

This film is entertaining from start to finish, including several gun fights, romance, looney tunes style slapstick comedy, and unexpected beings.

I try to watch this at least one time a year, usually with my two best friends while jesting at calling ourselves Three Amigos. It is still undecided which character each of us would have been.

There is very little in the way of graphic displays, so it is safe to show to those under the age of 11 years.

I recommend this for when you just feel like a chuckle.
