"Big" Review

"Big" Review

9/10

1988
A Penny Marshall Film
Protagonist(s): Tom Hanks, Elizabeth Perkins
Run-time: 1 hour 44 minutes

When a boy wishes to be big he wakes up the next morning in an adult body. He now has to try an adapt or find a way to reverse the wish.

This film along with any that involves deals with the Devil promotes the virtues of being specific when dealing with wishes.

The plot is very good, and watching the childish reactions and actions of an adult man being treated as a genius for them is no end of entertainment.

This film also contains one scene which is parodied over and over; dancing on a keyboard mat to make music.

This film is highly recommended, if only to make you ponder what you'd do differently in that situation.
