"Hop" Review

7/10

2011
A Tim Hill Film
Protagonist(s): James Marsden, Russell Brand, Hugh Laurie, Kaley Cuoco
Antagonist(s): Hank Azaria
Run-time: 1 hour 35 minutes

When a son finds himself pressured into following in his father's steps by becoming the Easter Bunny, he runs off to try achieving his dream of becoming a drummer and meets a man with no ambition or drive.

A classic tale of growth and friendship with the delightful twist of being bunny related.

The plot is fair, the acting talent is passable, the CGI work is good, but the two best things about the film would be Mr Hank Azaria's comedic voice talents and the bunny twist on Green Berets (the Pink Berets).

There are a few cameos, mostly famous people playing themselves. The voice actor for E.B. (Russell Brand) appears as a stage hand and has a brief moment of confusion with his animated character.

A highly recommended film.
