"Friends" Review

"Friends" Review

5/10

1994
Created by David Crane and Martha Kauffman
Protagonist(s): Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc
Seasons on Air: 10
Episode Run-time: 22 minutes

We follow the lives of a group of friends.

The series had a promising start, balancing comedy and tragedy in near perfection. But then most of the series started revolving around the bipolar emotions of Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) who can't decide whether or not they love one another. It then turned into a drama show with a few witty jokes and gags here and there.

If there is one thing I have learned from this series, it's to wait with a rebound girl for at least a week lest I suffer mockery and heartache should I get back together with the one I let go. That, and keep track of whether or not the one you're with is insane, which one or two of the characters clearly are.

In short, it's something to watch if there's nothing else on.
