"Stargate SG-1" Review Season 04, Episode 05, Divide and Conquer

When a member of the SGC attempts to assassinate the Tok'ra Supreme High Councilor during the planning of a visit to Earth to meet the President of the United States and finalise the treaty, it is revealed that the Goa'uld are aware of the alliance and have taken steps to sabotage it through mind controlled sleeper agents.
This episode introduces the concept of Za'tarcs; sleeper agents who do not suspect that they have been compromised until their programming is triggered, causing them to become very destructive towards their targets and ultimately themselves.
Anise, scientist for the Tok'ra introduced a few episodes ago, has found a way of making the memory recall device into a Za'tarc detector by singling out false memories planted over the programming while recalling certain events.
Aside from introducing the Supreme High Councilor, there is not much more in the way of new information.
The plot is good, the acting talent is good, the effects are decent.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
