One lone Replicator survived the uncontrolled reentry, and managed to board a Russian Submarine which was near the crash site. Now it floats near land and prepares to unload its offspring to execute its base programming.
One new piece of information is that the Replicator adopting the properties of the materials from which it was made; including the weaknesses. They are also able to reassemble themselves into different shapes with the building blocks which make them up.
There is also some political information; pointing out that the Russians do not believe the cover story concerning the Asgard Ship crashing into the Pacific. Simply towing the submarine out to sea and detonating it with a nuclear device would not be considered a wise decision.
The Asgards show the ability to shut down power remotely through the Stargate to prevent such things as Irises or shields from preventing entry.
There is also the humorous implication of the Asgards being too advanced to handle the Replicators and are in need of the less advanced humans' method of thinking. Though it must be stated that they are not always pleased with the possible answers given to their problems.
The plot is good, the acting talent is good, the special effects are excellent.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
