"Stargate SG-1" Review Season 03, Episode 22, Nemesis

9/10

When Colonel O'Neill gets leave because of Doctor Jackson's appendix he intends on spending it in Minnesota fishing for bass. However as he was attempting to persuade Major Carter into joining him for this 'fun' activity he disappears in a familiar flash of white light and reappears with a magnificent view of Earth as seen from orbit.

This episode introduces the enemy which the Asgard mentioned to O'Neill during the Treaty negotiations; the Replicators. The Replicators are technological creatures who do what their name suggests; replicate, using any and all materials available, and incorporating any and all new and unknown technology they come across to grow stronger. They will reappear relatively frequently.

The plot is good, the acting talent is good, the effects are good.
