This innocent looking and tasting beverage could easily have passed for watermelon soda pop rather than something which contains rum. The strong watermelon and carbonation masks any presence of the rum; I have had non-alcoholic rum candy which tasted less innocent than this. If not for the ingredient list and the notice of alcohol percentage (and the Bacardi bat insignia) it may have been just another fruity soda not unlike Fanta Tropic.
That being said, it may not be a good idea to drink too much of it in one sitting, as the lack of warning alcohol burn in the throat might mask its presence.
I recommend this for those of you out there who do not enjoy the taste of various trees in your drink, but prefer something sweet.
