"Stargate SG-1" Review Season 02, Episode 20, Show and Tell

8/10

When the iris in front of the Stargate refuses to close for an unscheduled incoming wormhole, it comes as a surprise when a boy walks through, declaring simply that he came to deliver a warning. During questioning, the boy reveals that his mother sent him to warn of an impending rogue invasion by invisible aliens, the species of which 'mother' is part.

This episode introduces the alien species of Reetou; an invisible alien which cannot be seen or heard, but which can influence their surroundings.

The Reetou are very advanced, but generally peaceful. Though no further encounters are made with the Reetou after this episode, the Tok'ra technology used to detect them will return on a few occasions.

The plot is good, acting talent is good, special effects are good.
