When Ted's Super Long Lasting Light Bulb project comes to its successful completion, Linda comes up with a scented light bulb and Veridian Dynamics becomes far more interested in Linda's discovery and Ted has to share the management of the new project. Lem also has to endure his mother dating and copulating with Dr Bhamba, and he decides to prove his intellect to the woman by solving her Unfinished Equation.

The theme of the episode is that one does not have to go to extremes to prove ones worth.

As usual the wit and humour of the episode is excellent, the acting talent is great.
