"Better Off Ted" Review Season 02, Episode 02, The Lawyer, the Lemur and the Little Listener

When Veridian Dynamics starts a round of layoffs, Veronica and Ted use the vague chatter of the friends of Ted's daughter as an oracle to prevent the employees of Veronica's department. Linda sells a children's book, but after finding out that Veridian Dynamics owns all creations of its employees she struggles to finish the book in secret within the given deadline. Lem discovers that his relationship with one of Veridian Dynamics lawyers gets charged as legal consultation per the hour.

The basic theme of the episode is exploitation, and how it has its good and bad points. The dangers and pit falls of trusting vague information, and the reluctant security of hiding behind someone bigger and stronger when your ideas are stolen from you.
