When three Highschool friends discover something strange in a cave, they are knocked unconscious and wake up with a strange bond and developing abilities.
What I like most about this film apart from the super powers is that is is filmed entirely from cameras which are supposed to be there as opposed to a roaming non existent entity whom no one can see or interact with. It will possibly set off a trend of films where the characters interact with the camera as a person or a camera, and I welcome it as it will make the story more engaging.
It is also a story of growth. The three teenagers develop their powers at different paces, but share their progress with each other to assist them. But as with all things personalities respond differently to power, and each of the three develop in different directions.
The effects are excellent. The plot is simple and believable as far as super powers go. The acting skills are above par.
I recommend this film for any science fiction and super hero enthusiast.
