"Why Me?" Review
7/10
1990
A Gene Quintano Film
Protagonist(s): Christopher Lambert, Christopher Lloyd, Kim Greist
Run-time: 1 hour 27 minutes
When a jewel thief (Christopher Lambert) gets his hands on the national treasure of a foreign nation he is suddenly being chased by police, federal agents, thugs and terrorists.
This is a classic tale of the thief who bit off more than he could chew, but through clumsy execution of the adversaries manages to get clear.
The acting is balanced between good and bad, the plot is based on the novel with the same name written by Donald Edwin Edmund Westlake and is amusing enough to keep the viewer entertained.
I recommend this film for anyone who enjoys bumbling people chasing or running from one another.
