"The Tourist" Review

"The Tourist" Review

9/10

2010
A Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck Film
Protagonist(s): Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie
Antagonist(s): Steven Berkoff
Run-time: 1 hour 43 minutes

When an American teacher goes to Venice to mend a broken heart he is dragged into a world of mystique and violence.

Johnny Depp is allowed to have his fun, which makes almost any film entertaining. Angelina Jolie is her usual seductive self.

The plot is somewhat weak, but supported by the antics of Mr Depp, the charm of Ms Jolie and the general conspiracy theme.

The film has shooting, explosions, enticing female attire or lack thereof, lovely scenery, amusing confusions, and intrigue.

I recommend this film for anyone.
