"So I Married an Axe Murderer" Review
8/10
1993
A Thomas Schlamme Film
Protagonist(s): Mike Myers, Nancy Travis
Antagonist(s): Amanda Plummer
Run-time: 1 hour 33 minutes
When a man who is terrified of commitment loses that fear as he falls for that special woman, something is most definitely wrong.
In this film Mike Myers is allowed to run wild, so to speak. His comedic talents lie in impressions and linguistic differences in various English dialects, as proven in "Shrek" and "Austin Powers" where he also gets to play the Scotsman, as he does in this film.
He plays two roles; the main character, and his father. One a sarcastic half-adult, the other a vulgar old Scottish coot.
The title says it all; the main protagonist marries a girl whom he then suspects to be an axe murderer, but discovers isn't ... or is she?
If you enjoy the linguistic impressions of Mr Myers then this film is for you.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
