"Planes, Trains and Automobiles" Review
10/10
1987
A John Hughes Film
Protagonist(s): Steve Martin, John Candy
Run-time: 1 hour 32 minutes
When Neal Page (Steve Martin) returns home for the holidays from his business trip, at the last moment rather than earlier in the day, he is faced with one disaster after the other.
This film is a classic John Hughes film; plenty of physical comedy interspersed with over reactions from Mr Martin.
The plot is fairly straight forwards, the acting talent is excellent, the comedy is top notch, and the conclusion is very believable and heart warming.
I highly recommend this film, if for no other reason than as a warning to not put things off 'til the last moment.
