"Lilo & Stitch" Review

"Lilo & Stitch" Review

8/10

2002
A Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders Film
Protagonist(s): Christ Sanders, Daveigh Chase, Tia Carrere
Antagonist(s): David Ogden Stiers, Kevin McDonalds
Run-time: 1 hour 25 minutes

In order to make her sister feel less like an outcase, Nani ( Tia Carrere) takes Lilo (Daveigh Chase) to the pound to find a pet dog. They got more than they bargained for.

This film will always hold some significance to me, as it was one of the first DVDs I bought, and the animation while excellent and detailed is so friendly and soft.

It is also something of a dream several geeky kids had since watching E.T. to find a friendly alien and be exposed to a technologically advanced race.

The plot is excellent, the voice acting while a bit wooden at times is good enough to be believed.

I recommend this film for any occasion.
