A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.

"Assassin's Creed: Revelations" Review

"Assassin's Creed: Revelations" Review

9/10

2011
Developer(s): Ubisoft Montreal
Publisher(s): Ubisoft
Genre(s): Action-adventure, stealth
Mode(s): Single-player, multiplayer

Having fallen into a coma by the end of the previous events, Desmond Miles is being kept in the Animus to preserve his life. While still in the Animus, he experiences the end of the career of Ezio Auditore da Firenze as he learns new tricks from the Constantinople branch of the Assassin's organization, finds love in a scholar woman, and uncovers the secrets behind Altaïr and his Apple of Eden.

There are a few changes since the previous game, the most obvious one being the hook blade which enables the player to glide down wires. The player is also able to assemble bombs and traps in various mixtures of explosive damage, fragmentation damage, and smoke distraction. There are times when the player displays signs of his age with small coughs, winces and comments. At one point the player once more plays as Altaïr who is too old for acrobatics and relies on his diciples' help.

The fighting system has smoothed out a little, making it more dynamic and flowing.

I heartily recommend this game.
