"Die Hard 2" Review

"Die Hard 2" Review

8/10

1990
A Renny Harlin Film
Protagonist(s): Bruce Willis, Bonnie Bedelia
Antagonist(s): William Sadler, Franko Nero, John Amos
Run-time: 2 hours 4 minutes

While waiting for his wife at Dulles Airport, John McClane (Bruce Willis) of the NYPD is dragged into another hostage crisis which involves hundreds of people in the air, among them his wife. He now has to avert a larger and better trained terrorist cell than back at Nakatomi Tower.

As mentioned, the situation which the main character is dragged into involves a larger area of better trained terrorists. What hasn't changed is that there are still local law enforcement individuals who place obstacles in his path, and one reporter who can't seem to keep from spreading panic at every opportunity.

There are several impossible acts which only work according to Hollywood physics, and a few evidences of an object not needing to have been designed to kill in order to do so.

A perfect film for a guys' film night. A word of advice, though; don't watch the films back-to-back, they're too similar.
