A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" Review

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" Review

8/10

1998
Written By: Joanne K Rowling
Published By: Bloomsbury, Arthur A. Levine Books, Scholastic Press, Raincoast Books
Protagonist(s): Harry Potter

This book follows Harry Potter through his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Something is loose in Hogwarts, petrifying students.

While the book series isn't overly political there is one piece of insight into the mindset of politicians in the phrase uttered by the Minister for Magic; "We must be seen as doing something." Meaning that it doesn't really matter if it solves the problem or not, as long as the press gets wind of action having been taken.

The second book in a series of seven (thus far, who knows if Mrs Rowling will build on the world she created).

I've read this book three times (so far), and it doesn't get worse with each reading.
