When it comes to music videos it is almost impossible to imagine one without a few loosely clad women dancing in the background, even in Country music. This video only has a few women in it at all, and they are all fully dressed and stationary.

The song tells the tale of how Hawk lived a tough life when he was younger and under the thumb of an abusive parent. From the video I can only assume the abusive man married Hawk's mother when Hawk was a boy and gained his trust as a friend and father. Whether this man was his biological father or not remains unclear.

The technical proficiency of the artist shines through in the music video. As does the skills of the production crew.

This is the first music video produced by the small company SakteFilm, and its entire crew is composed of only two men who have to do everything despite living in different countries. The production time was nearly a year (at odd weekends). At its premiere showing during Hawk Christensen's concert on the thirty-first of July, one of the two jokingly remarked that this was the reason for their company name. The translation of 'Sakte' into English means slow.

There are a few instances of sub-par acting, and possibly too strong use of colour but overall this is a professional grade music video.

As noted above, this video was made without a budget, meaning all the locations and props were used with the consent of their owners and then restored as far as possible. Hawk Christensen can not expect such charity in the future if the fame he seeks comes knocking at his door.
