Betrayed and imprisoned by his own government, Nathan Spencer is offered a bargain when an experimental weapon detonates and unleashes an earthquake and radioactive shock wave in Ascension City, killing the populace. In exchange for his freedom, Spencer agrees to take on the terrorist force known as BioReign.
This game is a sequel which takes place ten years after the original (released in 1988 to Nintendo Entertainment Systems). I have yet to play the original, so I cannot compare the two in any way.
The plot is complicated and filled with intrigue and betrayal, but apart from swinging around the urban jungle like a modern day Tarzan or bionic Spider-Man is mostly a third person shooter game. The bionic arm has multiple settings to choose from, but mostly acts as a grappling hook from which one goes swinging around or to pull nearby enemies off their feet.
I would personally have named this game Cyborg Commando, but won't quibble on this matter.
I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the multitasking challenge of swinging around and fighting armed and super powered opponents.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.
