"I Am Legend" Review

"I Am Legend" Review

8/10

2007
A Francis Lawrence Film
Protagonist(s): Will Smith
Run-time: 1 hour 40 minutes

In man's search for a cure for cancer, something awful is unleashed upon the world. Now the doctor who created the virus works at ground zero to attempt to cure the infected.

Based on a 1954 novel by the same name, the film takes place in a gloomy and desolate future where photosensitive and highly aggressive zombie-like humans and animals roam to kill those who are immune to the virus.

The effects are awesome. The plot is simple enough to follow, with a few twists of loneliness inspired lunacy. The acting talent is good.

I recommend this film for those not easily startled or frightened.
