"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" Review

"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" Review

7/10

2011
A Michael Bay Film
Protagonist(s): Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, John Turturro, Alan Tudyk, Peter Cullen
Antagonist(s): Hugo Weaving, Leonard Nimoy, Patrick Dempsey
Run-time: 2 hours 34 minutes

During an investigation for alien technology in Chernobyl the N.E.S.T. agents discover that the moon landing wasn't quite as open and innocent as it appeared. They found something, a Cybertronian ship, and it transpired that the Soviet Union had already returned something from there through a probe.

In short, the discovery of a Cybertonian scientist sets in motion events that threaten the freedom of humanity. Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has to prove that his inclusion in the previous alien attacks was not purely by chance.

The acting talent is balanced. The effects are excellent. The plot is twisted but interesting. The laws of physics seem to have ceased to exist in some parts.

I recommend this film to science fiction enthusiasts.
