"Stand and Deliver" Review
8/10
1988
A Ramon Menendez Film
Protagonist(s): Edward James Olmos, Lou Diamond Phillips, Rosanna DeSoto, Andy Garcia
Run-time: 1 hour 42 minutes
A new teacher at Garfield High School is determined to change the mindset of his students from seeking a quick fix instead of tackling a problem by teaching them calculus.
Based on a real story this film advocates working on problems rather than ignoring them. I enjoy the moral behind these kinds of films, as I agree with the idea behind them. Conversely I must admit watching a few bumbling idiots attempt to get away with a quick fix to their problems is entertaining.
The acting talent is balanced but overall good. The plot is good.
I recommend this film if you feel the need to be inspired to tackle your goals or problems.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
