"Evan Almighty" Review
9/10
2007
A Tom Shadyac Film
Protagonist(s): Steve Carell, Morgan Freeman, Lauren Graham
Antagonist(s): John Goodman
Run-time: 1 hour 36 minutes
When former News Anchorman Evan Baxter (Steve Carell) becomes a Congressman he is contacted by God (Morgan Freeman) and told to build an Ark.
A continuation of the concept put forth by the film Bruce Almighty, this seems to set a trend.
Bruce got the powers of God on a smaller scale. Evan was remade into Noah on a smaller scale. I sense that should they make another film it would be with the property realtor Eve Adams (Molly Sharon) and I don't think the name leaves much to the imagination as to what might happen.
The hilarity of Steve Carell's antics when faced with different situations is equal to Jim Carrey's in the previous film.
I recommend this film to anyone who isn't too offended by people portraying God or similar borderline blasphemous acts.
Reviewing different things; food, films, music, books, games etc. It is said that those who can't do; teach. Those who can't teach; critique.

A change has been made in regards to the Adult status of the Blog, due to the reviews on Alcoholic Beverages, and some for the violent games and films reviewed. Wouldn't want to set a bad example.
