"The Truman Show" Review

"The Truman Show"
Review

1998
A Peter Weir Film
Protagonist: Jim Carrey
Antagonist: Ed Harris
Run-time: 1 hour 43 minutes

His whole life has been a dream, but now it's time to wake up.

This film shows the extremes that Reality Shows could reach; a world full of actors and effects revolving around a blissfully ignorant person who is guided in the direction the producers and director wants without being too obvious about it.

The normally rubber-faced comedian Jim Carrey is given a chance to display something other than his normally over-the-top acting, while still having a few whimsical moments that fit the mood perfectly.

I would recommend this for anyone who loves both drama and comedy.
