"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
The very well known story of Romeo and Juliet is once more immortalised; this time in garden gnome version and with a more child friendly Disney-esque ending.
I have only one problem with this film; it seems more like a platform for a certain bespectacled pianist's music to be fed into the consciousness and awareness of the younger generation. I am certain that composing and or arranging for a wider range of musicians to sample from wouldn't have been too difficult.
What I like are the countless (because I don't want to) examples of Shakespear quotes or references added in some form where they weren't needed, and play on words that poked fun at anything.
Overall an entertaining film, if a bit monotonous in its music selection.
